Tomator uses meal photos or descriptions only when you choose to analyze or log food. Those inputs may be sent to service providers that help generate nutrition estimates.

Your nutrition targets, meal history, water intake, weight entries, and preferences are stored on your device unless a feature clearly tells you otherwise.

If you enable Apple Health access, Tomator reads or writes only the health categories you approve. We do not use Health data for advertising or sell it.

You can use core app features without creating a Tomator account.

Tomator is published on the App Store by VIIONR INFOTECH PRIVATE LIMITED. Approtic operates this website and provides product support for Tomator.

Meal photos and camera input: when you use AI meal scanning, Tomator processes the image to identify food and estimate calories and nutrients. Camera access is used only after you grant permission.

Food and nutrition details: foods you search for, meal descriptions, barcode data, serving information, calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat, health scores, and related corrections may be processed to provide logging and nutrition features.

Profile and goal information: details such as age range, height, weight, activity level, dietary goal, and nutrition targets are used to personalize calorie and macro recommendations.

Habit and progress information: meal history, water intake, streaks, quests, and progress entries are used to display your dashboard and trends.

Support messages: if you contact us, we receive the email address, message, screenshots, and device or diagnostic details you choose to provide.

Meal photos, meal descriptions, and related food details may be transmitted securely to service providers acting on our behalf so Tomator can return food recognition and nutrition estimates.

These providers may process technical request data needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service. We require providers to use information only for the services they supply to us, subject to their contractual and legal obligations.

Do not include faces, documents, or other sensitive personal information in a meal photo. AI and nutrition results can be inaccurate and should be reviewed before you rely on or save them.

If you choose to connect Apple Health, Tomator may read approved activity information to help refine daily targets and may write approved meal calories and macronutrients to the Health app.

Apple Health permission is optional and controlled in iOS Settings and the Health app. Tomator cannot access a Health category unless you grant permission, and you can revoke access at any time.

Health data is used only to provide health and fitness functionality. It is not used for advertising, marketing, data mining, or sale to data brokers.

Apple processes subscriptions, free trials, billing, and refunds through the App Store. Tomator uses StoreKit purchase information to determine whether Premium features should be unlocked. We do not receive your full payment-card details.

Apple may provide aggregated App Store analytics and crash or performance diagnostics according to your device and Apple Account settings. We use this information to maintain and improve the app.

We use information to operate Tomator, generate nutrition estimates, personalize targets, display progress, provide support, prevent misuse, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.

We share information only with service providers needed to operate those functions, with Apple for App Store and Health integrations, when you direct us to share it, or when disclosure is legally required.

We do not sell personal information or use meal photos or Apple Health data for third-party advertising.

Information stored locally remains on your device until you delete it in the app, reset app data, or uninstall Tomator. Data written to Apple Health is controlled separately through the Health app.

AI-processing inputs and technical logs are retained by us or our service providers only as long as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, and troubleshoot the requested feature, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes.

Support messages are kept only as long as needed for support, security, legal, and business records. You may contact us to request access to or deletion of personal information we control.

Tomator is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where required.

Approtic is based in India. Service providers may process information in other countries, where privacy laws may differ. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

You can deny or revoke camera and Apple Health permissions in iOS Settings, edit or delete local entries in the app where available, manage subscriptions in your Apple Account settings, and contact us about privacy rights available in your region.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information we control.

We may update this policy when Tomator, its providers, or legal requirements change. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest version.
