Terms of Use

Last updated: September 25, 2026. These terms cover your use of WebMate, its AI chat, WebMate Premium subscriptions and your use of WhatsApp Web inside the app.

What WebMate does

WebMate lets you use WhatsApp Web inside the app, chat with an AI assistant, browse daily quotes, and lock the app with Face ID or a PIN.

WebMate is published on the App Store by VIIONR INFOTECH PRIVATE LIMITED. By downloading or using the app you agree to these terms.

WhatsApp

WebMate is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by WhatsApp or Meta. WhatsApp is a trademark of its owner.

Your use of WhatsApp is governed by WhatsApp's Terms of Service. Only link accounts you own or are authorised to use, and keep your device secure. WhatsApp may change or restrict WhatsApp Web at any time, which can affect how WebMate works.

AI chat

AI chat replies are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. They are not professional, medical, legal or financial advice. Check anything important before you rely on it.

Do not use AI chat to create unlawful, harmful or infringing content. Your use of AI chat must also comply with Google's Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy, which applies to the Gemini API that generates replies.

WebMate Premium subscriptions

WebMate Premium is an auto-renewing subscription available weekly, monthly or yearly, and may include a free trial for eligible Apple Accounts. Prices are shown in your local currency in the app before you confirm anything, and that price is the one you pay.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of any free trial period.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.

If you are inside a free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends to avoid being charged for the first paid period. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.

You can manage or cancel a subscription in iOS Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.

Apple processes all payments and refunds. We cannot issue refunds ourselves. Request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Licence and Apple's standard EULA

WebMate is licensed to you, not sold. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to your use of the app and to any in-app purchase or subscription, and is available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. These terms sit alongside it, and where the two conflict, Apple's EULA prevails to the extent required.

You may not copy, resell, rent, reverse engineer or redistribute the app, or remove any notices from it, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits.

Acceptable use

Do not use WebMate to access someone else's account without permission, to send spam, to break the law, or to interfere with the app or the services it connects to.

Your data

The Privacy Policy explains what WebMate processes and which third-party services receive data.

Availability and changes

We may add, change or remove features, and we may stop supporting older versions of iOS. We aim to keep the app working but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

We may update these terms when the app changes or when legal requirements change. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version.

Liability

WebMate is provided as is and as available. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for anything done through your WhatsApp account, or for changes WhatsApp makes to WhatsApp Web, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app and in-app purchases in the twelve months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
