CiviBuild: Construction Calc is an Android application for construction quantity, material, measurement, conversion, and planning-cost estimates.

Core calculations run on the device and do not require a CiviBuild account.

CiviBuild stores settings, onboarding status, calculation inputs, saved calculations, preferred currency, favourites, and related app state locally on your Android device.

Depending on your Android and Google backup settings, locally stored app preferences may be included in encrypted Android cloud backup or device-to-device transfer. Approtic does not directly operate or access that Android backup service.

Estimate PDFs are generated locally. When you choose to share a PDF, Android's system share sheet sends it to the app or recipient you select.

Approtic does not upload the PDF through its own servers as part of this workflow. The selected third-party app handles the file under its own privacy terms.

CiviBuild uses Google AdMob to display banner and rewarded advertisements. Google's Mobile Ads SDK may process information such as IP address, device or advertising identifiers, app interactions, diagnostics, and approximate location derived from network information for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and related purposes.

Where required, Google's User Messaging Platform asks for advertising consent and provides privacy choices. Ads may be personalised or non-personalised depending on your region, consent choices, account settings, and Google's policies.

If you contact Approtic, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message, screenshots, app version, device details, and diagnostic context.

Support records are retained only as long as reasonably needed to answer requests, maintain security, satisfy legal obligations, and keep appropriate business records.

Approtic does not sell your saved construction calculations or user-entered project values.

Advertising data may be processed by Google as described above. Local data remains on your device until you delete saved items, clear app data, reset the app, or uninstall it, subject to any Android backup copies controlled by your device settings.

You can manage advertising consent from CiviBuild's Settings screen when the privacy-options control is required in your region. You can also manage Android permissions, advertising settings, app storage, and backup settings through your device or Google account.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal information handled through support. Contact us to submit a privacy request.

CiviBuild is a professional construction utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children through the app.

We may update this policy when CiviBuild, its advertising providers, legal requirements, or data practices change. The date on this page identifies the latest version.
